Erachi Varutharacha Curry

Ingredients:
Mutton - 1/4 cup
Cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch
Cloves - 5
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Pepper - 5
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Green chili - 2
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chili powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per tatse
Coconut oil - 2 tsp
Instructions:
In a pan dry roast cinnamon, cloves, fennel, pepper, cumin seeds until they pop, then add grated coconut to it and roast until brown
Cool them and grind it to a smooth paste and keep aside
In a pressure cooker, add coconut oil, sliced onion and saute it until soft, then add ginger-garlic paste, slit green chilis and mix until raw smell leaves
Now add chopped tomato to it and mix well
Add chili powder, turmeric powder and salt as per taste and mix well
Now add washed mutton to the sauted gravy and mix well
Add 2 cups of water and cover and cook for 5 whistle
Once the pressure is out, add the smooth grinded masala paste and mix well
Boil for 5 minutes and off the flame
Serve hot with Rice
