Mitha Saluna from Indian state - Himachal Pradesh

Mitha saluna is one of the simplest dessert.

Ingredients:

  • Gram flour -1 cup

  • Jaggery syrup - 1/2 cup

  • Fennel seeds - 1 tsp

  • Coconut pieces - 1/4 cup

  • Melon seeds - 1 tsp

  • Salt - 1 tsp

  • Oil - to fry

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, add gram flour with salt and mix

  2. Add water and mix to thick paste

  3. In hot oil, with strainer, pour the batter to get small size bondi

  4. Strain, keep aside

  5. In other pan add oil, coconut, melon seeds, fry

  6. Then pour jaggery syrup to it

  7. Now add fried bondi to the syrup and soak for 1 minute and serve
