Mixed dal is a spicy protein soup and full of flavors, makes a good accompaniment with any meal. This is one of the most easiest recipe which can be done within few minutes. Best combo pack for rice and chapathi.

Ingredients:
Toor dal - 1/4 cup
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Mossor dal - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Garlic - 4
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Salt- as per taste
Ghee - 1 tsp
Water - 1 cup
Instructions:
In a pressure cooker, wash and cook Toor dal, chana dal & masoor dal, for 3 whistles, then mash & keep aside
In a pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, garlic & sauté them
Add onion, tomato sauté it until mushy
Then add turmeric powder, chili powder & salt as per taste
Then add cooked mashed dals to it
Add required water, mix well and boil for 10 minutes & serve hot with rice
