Muthiya or muthia is a fist-shaped dumpling, which is a traditional street food, snack or a side dish in Western India. Primarily vegan in nature, the term muthiya has been derived from the word “muthi” which means fist – the ‘gripping action’ of our hands, which is also how this snack is made.
