Ragi Soup
Course : Appetizer
Cuisine : Indian
Prep time :10 minutes
Process time : 15minutes
Total time : 25 minutes
Ingredients:
Sprouted ragi powder - 2 tsp
Beans - 4
Carrot - 1
Cabbage -1/2
Soaked horsegram - 1 cup
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Water - 2 cups
Instructions:
In a pot add water, bring to boil. To this add chopped vegetables.
Allow the vegetables to cook half.
Then add soaked horse gram and cook completely.
Add salt and mix well.
Now in a cup add sprouted ragi powder and mix water without forming lumps, now add this ragi water to the boiling soup and mix well.
Cook the soup for 10 minutes, until ragi is cooked.
Finally add pepper powder and serve hot!
Grinding the masalas all is been done with amikkal(hand grinder), you can used the powder, to make your dish faster.

Always add ragi powder in separate bowl and add water and mix then pour into soup, if we add ragi powder directly into soup, there are changes of lumps form.
