Sathumaavu - Health Mix Power

Updated: Jun 5, 2021

Sathumaavu can be given after 6 months and after introduction of the basic foods like rice and dal. So ideally by completion of 6 to 7 months it can be given.

If the ingredients are from a reputed brand then there is no need of washing and drying, they can be directly dry roasted. But here I have washed and sun dried it for safer side. Start with one tablespoon of porridge and slowly increase it upto 3 tablespoon. Follow 3 day rule.

They can be stored for 1 month outside and 3 to 6 months in refrigerator. Always store them in an airtight container in a dry cool place. THIS HEALTH MIX IS DONE WITH 23 INGREDIENTS.

If your child is above 1 year, it can be given with milk. If formula milk is been added don't cook the milk, just add formula milk after cooking the sathumaavu kanji.
Since it has many ingredients it is best if cooked over the stove.
This power will help to gain weight in babies and toddlers.
