Sewa Diya Bhaat

Bora chaul (sticky rice) soaked in water is steamed in banana leaf. The cooked rice is then served with yogurt or chicken curry.


LETS GET COOKING:

Sewa Diya Bhaat


Course : Lunch




Cuisine : Indian




Prep time : 10 minutes




Process time : 60 minutes




Total time : 70 minutes


Ingredients:

  • Sticky Rice - 1 cup

  • Banana leaf - 1

  • Water - 2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Wash and soak the sticky rice for 1/2 and hour

  2. Strain the soaked water and place the rice on banana leaf

  3. Keep the leave on steam plate and steam them for 1 hour

  4. Once the rice is steam, the cooked rice will be sticky

  5. Serve them with curd
